The programme grounds application of scientific approaches to test operations management phenomena. It encourages a learner-driven and active participation approach. The programme considers how people, processes, and structures interrelate. It is concerned with data and metrics on operations management. The learner will seek new knowledge in emerging areas in operations management and use the knowledge to build on related theories. The programme focuses on societal needs and targets excellence in its delivery and output, provides equity in opportunities within its pursuit and placement, and is expected to foster integrity and coexistence among people. 

Doctorof Philosophy in Management Information Systems that we offer provides a platform for interrogation of management information systems theories, concepts and practices while recognizing its interplay with other disciplines such as Business Information Technology and Management. The programme grounds application of scientific approaches to test management informationsystems phenomena. It encourages learner driven and active participationapproach. The programme considers how people, processes and structuresinterrelate. It is concerned with data and metrics on management informationsystems. The learner will seek new knowledge in emerging areas in management information systems and use the knowledge to build on relatedtheories. The programme focuses on societal needs and targets excellence in its delivery and output, provides equity in opportunities within its pursuit andplacement and is expected to foster integrity and coexistence among people.

The Doctor of Philosophy in  Procurement and Supply Chain Management that we offer provides a platform for interrogation of Supply Chain theories, concepts and practices while recognizing its interplay with other disciplines such as Business, Economics, and Logistics. The programme grounds application of scientific approaches to test Supply Chain phenomena. It encourages learner driven and active participation approach. The programme considers how people, processes and structures interrelate. It is concerned with data and metrics on Supply Chain. The learner will seek new knowledge in emerging areas in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and use the knowledge to build on related theories. The programme focuses on societal needs and targets excellence in its delivery and output, provides equity in opportunities within its pursuit and placement and is expected to foster integrity and coexistence among people.

The Master of Science in Supply Chain Management programme has been designed to the global supply chain. This will be achieved through collaborations with industry players in the form of Academic Field Trips, Guest speakers, Seminars and workshops. A range of careers are available for graduates of the Master of Science in Supply Chain equip its graduates to be able to successfully integrate procurement, operations and logistics management functions across the global supply chain; implement the best supply chain design for their organizations to sustain their operations in the long term; identify the dynamics of purchasing, procurement and sourcing activities and their impact on the supply chain as a whole; become experts in performance measurement, benchmarking and assessment analysis; and to develop inter-organizational relationships throughout Management, including Chief Procurement Officer, Contracts Manager, Commodity Manager, Inventory Manager, Materials Analyst, Supplier Management Analyst, Director of Supplier Relations, Worldwide Procurement Analyst, among others. The programme also lays ground for doctoral (PhD) studies in procurement and supply chain management.
